Not bored today!!!

Our favorite Italian restraint in Yuma is the Ciao Bella. They make a Cioppino that is to die for.
In Gloria's Heart Association Cookbook they have a recipe for Cioppino, so I made some. It is good, but not Ciao Bella good. They put spaghetti in theirs so I did too. It isn't in the book.
As you know I have taken up walking three miles each morning. This morning I found a bunch of stuff in an unused irrigation ditch. I saw a police "Duty Belt" and three or four duffel bags with a lot of "stuff" laying around. When I got to the house I called the Sheriff's office and they sent an officer out and I led him to the stuff. It turned out it was stuff that was taken from a Border Patrolman's car two days ago. So the Border Patrol sent out a supervisor. We had quite a group out here. One of the things that was in there was the Border Patrolman's Social Security Card so they knew where it all belonged.

Here you can see the oxygen bottle in the EMT bag.

This is the county sheriff getting the stuff out of the ditch.

This is the sheriff taking photos.

This is some of the personnel stuff and the EMT bag before it was moved to the road.

In this photo you can see the Border Patrol hat part of the "Duty Belt" and stuff that was removed from the EMT kit. The duty belt had a ten round clip for an M16 and it was fully loaded.

This is the way I found the stuff. The OD bag at the top of the photo had four twenty round clips for the M16 fully loaded. It also had head lamps flash lights and lots of other stuff.
So today had something going on.
This is all the stuff in the ditch. You could not see it from the road if you were in the drivers seat. The deputy drove right by it and returned to my place. I met him on the road. When I stopped at the office to get the mail Ken had sent me, the manager wanted to know if I was alright. Her husband told her the sheriff stopped at my place the first time he was in and left in a big hurry the second time. She thought I might be sick.

There is going to be a big Cinco De Mayo party in Old Town Fri. Film at eleven.
