I finally had to go home. Didn't want to as there is so much work to do to get out of the house. Renee and Carla came over and packed everything up for an Estate sale. So many memories were discovered going through our stuff. Thankfully Gloria had gotten rid of most of her personnel stuff so we didn't have to deal with it.
On the way home I stopped by Ricks place to see how he was coming with his garage construction. It is moving right along. As you can see his place is looking good.
This is Daisy on the left and her big sister Emma. They are the cutest little girls in the subdivision. Gloria knitted them baby sweaters and kept them supplied with cookies. They are modeling the dresses I got them in Mexico.
Their family is going to be raising chickens for eggs and pleasure. I can't remember much pleasure from chickens until we eat them.
Andy did a good job building the pen. The roost is fixed so the droppings fall on board under it and it is removable for cleaning. (See what a college education can do for you.)
This is Andy admiring is work. He buried the hardware cloth eight inch's deep to discourage Raccoons from getting his egg factories.

My daughter who lives in East Portland also has a backyard chicken coop, it sure isn't that nice! What a great job!
