We are now in El Golfo Mexico

This was our first day back to El Golfo and we have been busy ever since we parked the rig.
The owner of "Los Conchas" restaurant in down town El Golfo. This was his last day in business. When we showed up he said beer and Margareta's are on me. Then when about thirty of us showed up we each got a bill to pay as we left. He served good Chines food but not very good Mexican. Every year he had a free "Welcome back" dinner with free drinks. (really) He will be missed. The new owner starts on the Second. Los Conchas

Howard and Edna Lee friends we have met here and traveled with many times. Having a farewell drink in "Los Conchas" It will open on the 2nd under new management.

Judy Winsett enjoying her wedding anniversary on New Years Eve. The Winesett's have been friends ever since we have been coming to El Golfo.

Gloria having a glass of wine after New Years dinner.

We start the new year with the "Pelican plunge" I am the one taking photos Gloria's stayed in the coach. This is an annual event at El Golfo. It is strictly a spectator sport for us.

The Party is over! Hats and horns will be stored for another year.

Notice that the leaves are all on one side of the trees.

HAPPY NEW YEAR and welcome to life on the Sea of Cortez's. High for to day 25.7 mph. 61 degrees. Elv. 18 ft.
