A HUNTING WE WILL GO

A group of friends from Coos Bay that I worked with and Rick our oldest son came over to deer hunt in the Fort Rock unit. We had a great trip and no blood shed. We saw lots of deer but no horns. We planed to hunt twelve days but........ Dave Harden got a call from the VA and had to get test for his diabetes on Fri. A snow storm came in on Thursday morning and Bill didn't want to go over a snowy pass with his rig. Rick left early Monday. So we broke camp and went home on Thursday.

Camp with Bills camper all set up.

Our coach with the screen room set up. Dave's tent and cot were not compatible. To long of a cot and too short of a tent. He slept in the Screen room.

Another view of our coach.

Rick unloading fire wood from his JD "Gator" There was so much wood laying around we never had to start a say. Lots of pitch so no problem getting a fire going.
I took this photo before breakfast it snowed two inches while we were eating. Made folding up th screen room and awning a bitch. .
Every one got home safely and are looking forward to "next year" when we will hopefully have Terry Evans and Craig Beyer with us like in the good old days.

Hey Daddy, you still wear the leather hat I got you when I was eighteen! That hat has seen some hunting years!
