Last week we went with the park "Singles club" to visit a new park in Yuma. It is built on the site of an old city dump. It is a beautiful park. With areas of "habitat" for different species of desert wild life. There is a place for "Burrowing Owls, Humming birds and Butterflies." Open areas for rabbits and other mammals. Below is your lettuce being picked and packaged in the field.

Gloria's favorite bird the Road Runner. It doesn't sit still very long.
The humming bird is easy to see in this photo.
If you look in the NW quarter of this photo you will see a humming bird.
This is one of the play areas built in the park. It is constructed completely with composite wood. It is a very busy place.
This statue is in honer of the "Mormon Brigade" that camped here on the way to San Diego. During the Revaluation.
We went to the "Light Parade" in old town Yuma. They had lots of lighted cars and trucks. Unfortunately our cameras have slow shunter speeds in the dark.
